Physical Therapist
Brief info
Kyle Tracy
Kyle Tracy received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro College in 2018 after earning his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from SUNY Brockport, where he was a four year starter on the men’s baseball team.
Kyle’s interest in physical therapy began in high school after sustaining an elbow injury and experiencing rehabilitation firsthand. He enjoyed not only the recovery process, but also the positive and welcoming atmosphere of the clinic, which helped inspire him to pursue physical therapy as a career.
Since graduating, he has practiced in a variety of outpatient orthopedic settings on Long island and in New York City, developing extensive experience treating orthopedic and sports related conditions. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, sports medicine, and helping patients return to the activities that are most important to them.
Kyle takes an individualized, hands on approach to physical therapy, combining manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to address not only a patient’s symptoms, but the factors contributing to them. His background in exercise physiology and athletics has helped shape an approach that emphasizes movement, strength, and giving patients a better understanding of their own bodies throughout the rehabilitation process.
Outside of the clinic, Kyle enjoys running, hiking, gardening, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.
