Shockwave PT

Also known as Radial Pressure Wave Therapy, Shockwave Therapy offers a non-invasive treatment solution to chronic soft tissue injuries. This treatment method helps reduce pain an improve function in regards to injuries that are normally difficult to treat.

How it works:

Radial pressure waves (pulses) are generated by compressed air. The compressed air drives a projectile, located inside the hand piece, to a shock transmitter. These pulses spread into the underlying tissue, penetrating that tissue, and increasing blood circulation. This has shown great potential to help stimulate the healing process.
